iPhone 4 Case
The case was designed to snap fit around an iPhone 4 to protect the phone, while still allowing for access to all buttons and ports. The deveoplment of my custom iPhone case was the result of several iterations of CAD models and rapid prototyping materials selection.

Project Description
The measurments for the phone were taken and used to design a CAD model in Siemens NX 9.5. The design left gaps, allowing access for headhones, chargers, and buttons on the sides of the device. Additonal features included a credit card slot on the back of the phone and a custom name inscription.
The case was printed on the Statasys Objet350 which can print materials of different densities and colors. As the design progressed, a more flexible material was chosen for the sides, to allow the device to snap in and out of the case, and a denser material was chosen for the back to protect the phone.
Three full design revisions were completed through the course of the project. Below are the iterations.
